Squirrel Comedy Theatre was founded as a majority queer and BIPOC-run improv comedy theatre, established by ex-Upright Citizens Brigade alums in response to the UCB's permanent closure in 2020. The theatre served the improv comedy community in New York City for 4 years, ending all operations in November of 2023.
